Artist Bio
Kris Bullock's musical path would be likened more to the tortoise than the hare. Hailing from small town Pennsylvania, music wasn't a big part of family life or town life for that matter, instead focusing on big league high school sports. Inspired by a dream akin to Bill and Ted's excellent adventure time travel that ended up in a small German shire where he felt into a past life of being a composer, Kris had his mind made up - this was his soul calling!
Kris's musical roots stem from bongo competitions on school desks in the third grade, and he still attributes his rhythmic based strumming pattern to those early beginnings. He spent his formative years competing in classical piano recitals featuring works of Chopin, Bach, Beethoven and Mozart amongst others before turning his hand to the acoustic guitar.
No respector of style, Kris's musical influences range from classical, to country, to Seattle grundge, to native american flute to hair metal. to blues etc. And many of his performances will feature a blend of all. His mad scientist nature led him to tailor some personalized unique instruments and today, at any moment you can find him playing any combination of foot percussion, lap slide, hand drums, vocals, native american flute and several types of acoustic guitars.But he is most known for his soulful baritone vocals.
